Music and poetry evening dedicated to Abay was held at the Minsk school

Karina Sarsenova and artists of the production center "KS-production" of the Mukhtar Auezov school in Minsk celebrated Abay's 175th birthday.

On February 6, 2020, a musical and poetic evening with the participation of Kazakh pop artists dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayula was held at secondary school No. 143 in Minsk named after M. O. Auezov, during which a bright and inspiring presentation of books by the writer, poet Karina Sarsenova took place.

In his welcome speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus-Askar Beisembayev noted that our countries are developing not only political and economic relations, but also actively promoting cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

A vivid evidence of the friendship between our countries is that this school is located on M. O. Auezov street and since 2009 it has been named after this great classic, A. beissenbayev said.

It is very symbolic that the celebration of the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayuly takes place in the school of his follower, who wrote the work "the Way of Abay", which describes the life of the famous Kazakh poet.

At the musical evening, Kazakh pop artists performed songs based on poems by Abay Kunanbayuly and Karina Sarsenova to the accompaniment of the kobyz folk instrument performed by the honored worker of Kazakhstan Erlan Sabitov, singer ASEM Kopbayeva, and soloist of the Philharmonic society. Zhambyl Miras Chinarova, singer Meruert was Murali and finalist "X factor" and "The Voice of Kazakhstan" Timur Imaginova.
