A "Ticker" is an electronic device (scoreboard) designed to display a large amount of text and graphic information that "runs" horizontally, moving from right to left. In addition to news or advertising information, the scoreboard often displays air temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.
Regardless of the supply voltage, the "Ticker" can store previously entered information for years thanks to non-volatile memory. The memory capacity can range from several thousand characters to several hundred thousand.
In modern led displays, any font size and type, and various color solutions are possible. The "Ticker" can work in various speed modes.
A display matrix, usually consisting of LEDs, ensures the operation of the "running line". The device is connected to the information source via USB, radio channel, IR, GSM, bluetooth, etc.
You only need to connect the scoreboard to the information input device when the information is loaded. The "Ticker" is controlled using a standard computer keyboard. The control program is equipped with a Ticker emulator, which allows you to control the correctness of the entered information without loading the text into the Ticker. Usually the scoreboard module does not exceed 3 meters in length.
