Replacing a brake shoe with a LADA Granta also costs from 1,500 tenge, a set of timing belts with rollers - 20 thousand tenge, a brake disc (front) - 14 thousand tenge, a lambda probe - 12 thousand tenge.
As for the cars made in Russia, here too, with the exception of a few recent models, spare parts are acceptable. But, as the "chiropractor" of one of the Almaty service stations said on condition of anonymity, the assembly leaves much to be desired, and therefore the appearance of noise inside and outside the passenger compartment already in the first year of car operation is not uncommon.
“There are a lot of problems, if the operation of the car is tough, and therefore the cheapness of spare parts, as a result, may turn out to be illusory,” he noted.
"Koreans" and "Japanese" as they are, or a tolerable option
If we are talking about Korean cars Hyundai Accent and KIA Rio, which in recent years have gradually won first places among the sales of new budget cars in Kazakhstan, then there is something to say.

If we are talking about Japanese cars, in particular, about Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry, then everything is more or less decent here. The front brake pads for this car cost 7 thousand tenge, a set for replacing the timing chain - 49 thousand tenge, a brake disc - 9 thousand tenge, a lambda probe - 20 thousand tenge.
Moreover, the prices for Toyota Camry spare parts are not much different from the prices for Toyota Corolla spare parts.
Both Corolla and Camry are probably the best option out of all of the above, and therefore they do not visit the service station so often. By the way, according to the service station workers, cars of the same brand assembled in Europe, the USA or Japan are very different from those assembled in Russia, Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan. This, in their opinion, is due to the qualifications of personnel, which is certainly higher in developed countries.
Well, and most importantly. As many service station workers noted, the less the car owner saves on the cost of spare parts, the less often he will visit the service station.
